Who does Breathing Space help?
We will provide help, support and guidance to anyone wanting to set up their own business – whether you have a current business idea or not. We have a database of over 600 potential business opportunities for self-employment that you might choose from. We will also provide help and support for anyone into employment. We would normally ask that clients be over the age of 18 years.

How will my attendance at Breathing Space Ltd affect my benefits or Job Seekers allowance?
We can manage your attendance at Breathing Space and the provision of our services so that it will not affect any benefits you might be receiving.

Will Breathing Space Ltd provide financial funding to help me set up my business?
Breathing Space Ltd itself does not provide start-up finance but we are able to recommend or “signpost” you to organisations who will be able to provide start-up funding at very low rates if you are able to produce a realistic business plan – which we will assist you in. We may even be able to help you find grants to assist you.

What will the support services from Breathing Space cost me? 
Depending on where you live or where you plan to start your business, all the start-up support and training will be free.  We may also be able to help with travel costs.  Call us and we can discuss your eligibility.

When will the support from Breathing Space finish? 
The support that you receive will finish when you want it to. We still work with clients who have been running their businesses for a number of years!
